For the school management and data protection
Everything on one page
- The school is the controller; Fernscout dev processes data on its behalf. A data-processing agreement is ready to sign.
- Data stored in Helsinki, Finland.
- No AI and no voice recordings on our servers; no data in the USA.
- You choose how long the camp is kept when you set it up (default: end of the next school year). Renew in one click; we remind you 30 days before.
- Children without photo consent are flagged; their photos are not sent.
- Only readers the teacher approved: parents, and up to two more per family.
- A consent letter template and a data-protection pack to forward.
Costs, honestly
Free for the school. Every family gets the camp as a free PDF. A printed book is offered once, after the camp, and nobody has to buy anything for their child to take part. The school can switch the offer off. We earn from the printed books and postcards families choose to order.

Our camp has a phone ban.
